The story of Miami Writes Co. began in 2018, though the idea started forming a year earlier. On Valentine’s Day in 2017, Kelsy planned a scavenger hunt for her boyfriend (now husband). Along the way, he found handwritten notes styled in elegant cursive and asked where she had purchased them. When Kelsy explained she had written them herself, he was amazed—and encouraged her to take her talent further.

What started as a hobby soon evolved into the beginning of Kelsy’s entrepreneurial journey. She discovered a love for wedding mirrors and seating charts, quickly falling in love with the craft. “Mastering a naturally curved style of writing to fit each mirror’s unique dimensions was my biggest challenge—and fear,” she says. “But it pushed me to become faster and more efficient without sacrificing the quality of my work.”

Now with over seven years in the wedding industry, Kelsy’s passion lies in ensuring that every couple she works with feels confident and cared for. Her focus is always on creating a smooth, stress-free experience and delivering work that brings joy.

In 2020, Miami Writes Co. took a major leap forward by opening a showroom in the heart of Coral Gables. “We wanted to create a space where we could connect with our clients on a deeper level and elevate their experience.”
